Furfural is produced in our production plant in Shushtar city in south of Iran as one of the important organic chemical which is mainly used in the production of furfural alcohol, Furic acid, Adipic acid, Butylene oxide and Maleic anhydride and so on. It is used for the production of medicine, pesticide, paint, and plasticizer etc. Also Furfural is used as selectiove solvent in extraction of aromatic compounds for production of Base oils and resins cleaning.
Properties:
The pure Furfural is an oily liquid with colorless, transparent and inflammable. Furfural is easy to dissolve in Alcohol. Diethyl ether, Acetone , Benzene and Chloroform etc. and slightly dissolve in water.
